Grimsby is famous for its fish and is the home of Flatfish, a producer of quality, sustainable fish products. So, when Flatfish approached Sourcefour to work with them to create a new chilled fish product that would be sold through Waitrose, we were up for the challenge.
Our team worked with Flatfish to brainstorm ideas for a unique and stand-out brand name, which were presented to Watrose for consideration.
The chosen brand name, ‘Yeah Buoy’, was distinctive and very different to everything else on the shelf. Once the final brand name was chosen, we then registered it with the Intellectual Property Office as a registered trademark, protecting it for the future.
The next stage was logo development and packaging designs, all within the stringent guidelines of Waitrose. We are very proud of the end result and our involvement in this project!
