Mockingbird Streetfood.
Mockingbird Street Food was a new street food concept and brand with the unique concept of a menu of equal parts mouthwatering chicken and vegan mock chicken street food, all served from a repurposed container kitchen outside Docks Beers.
Our challenge was to create a brand that caught the eye and made it stand out from the typical ‘chicken shop’. It was a challenge our Creative Director, Kirk, took on and delivered an eye-catching hand-illustrated style in a bold yellow and black colour palette.
Inspired by doodle artists and street art, the ‘funky chicken’ character was used to wrap the outside of the container kitchen as well as on menus, the website and promotional materials. The concept was completed with a distinctive and quirky tone of voice used for marketing messages.
